Melt-Banana (Cell-Scape & Bambi's Dilemma)

Good News, you don't have to feel like a tool box for liking Melt-Banana!

Sure, they're popular, have a nasally-voiced Japanese woman as their singer, and have "wacky" song titles like "Pigeons on my Eyes (Go to Bed!!!)" but they're a legitimate band I swear.

Inescapable comparisons to the zeuhl-y Ruins or the noise-y Boredoms are abound so I won't bore you. Check this shit out son! Their two most recent Al-Bums

Made Out of Babies

The new album came out earlier this summer and you can probably find it most places at this point, but for those who don't have it yet...

Made out of Babies is an awesome band with a kind of choppy syncopation that for most people calls to mind The Jesus Lizard. The comparison is fair, but Made out of Babies isn't a clone by any means, they're brutal, original, Julie Christmas' vocals are never annoying (A woman in metal, GASP!) and are in fact the thing that ties the band's sound together. So, are you waiting for a fucking invitation?

And, as an added bonus you get the first album which is probably the best one out there so far
